What is SONAR?
SONAR is an electronic circuit device mainly used for sensing objects from far distance. The word SONAR stands for Sound Navigation And Ranging, mainly used for obstacle detection in robotics projects, submarines, planes, etc.
Sonar, a frequency sending and receiving technique that uses sound frequency to gather information about the surrounding environment for its navigation. Active and Passive are its types.
How does SONAR works?
Sonar actually has a transducer and a receiver two main components on a circuit, a transducer generates sounds waves and sends into the environment around it. When those waves reflects back by nearby objects the receiver on the circuit receives the signals. The signals then measures to identify the distance of the object and the type of frequency for identifying the geometric shape of the objects the frequency being reflected by.
